Early, our private transportation will pick you up at your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. to head towards our first destination “the town of Maras” which is located 40 km northwest of Cusco (1 hour and a half away).

We will visit the famous “Templo Mayor de San Francisco de Asís”. Our guide will explain details about the ancient objects of great importance that the place preserves, one of these a beautiful portrait with scenes from the gospel that “Antonio Sinchi Roca” painted on the walls.

As the second destination, we will go to the archaeological center of Moray, at 3 500 masl. A site used for research and experimentation of Andean plants. We will have a determined time to walk freely in the place and to take some photos or videos (We will see in the distance the snowy “Verónica” and “Chicón”).

At 12:30 p.m. you will take a short walk to reach our last destination located a few kilometers away, “Las salineras de Maras” at 3300 masl, composed by 2000 Andean salt pits that are constantly fed by a subsoil water spring.

The product extracted from these pits is unique in the world and is used in gourmet restaurants. Also, it contains a high concentration of minerals beneficial to health.

In the company of our guide, you will know the history of the place in the Inca age you will have free time to buy the product (optional).
